Finally.
A package that starts to be worthy of what these men and women did for our world. Prose, photos, design — all stellar.
Lindsey, please hug yourself, the shooter(s) and Mr. Charlier very vigorously for what you’ve done, and thank yourselves very much for me. The pocket-knives line … oh my lord. My beloved uncle was never without his pocket knife, either. He’s been gone two years as of Sept. 18.

Very very nice. My High school economics teacher one day made a passing comment about his Dad being a WWII veteran and it wasn’t until his Dad passed away that we found out he was a big big deal in the South Pacific and connected deeply with Bataan and acts of heroism. he was just our economics teacher’s dad. None of the stories were ever told around town. Austin Shofner+Bataan-Google him.
