Day 31 — No Nonsense
My feet run the show. Project 365
This is the door from the laundry room to the parking lot. I’ve lost count of the times I’ve run up these stairs because I was convinced a zombie face was going to peek out from between the stairs and nibble on my ankle. Which is why I try to do my laundry during the day and not at night. Lesson learned. Project 365
I just had dinner — herb chicken bake! — with Phil and Jamieslan, and Jamie showed us this video and I haven’t stopped laughing. It’s of some WoW team leader taking a bunch of people to battle against a dragon. High on nerd comedy and profanity, so NSFW.
Idlewild Presbyterian on Union, taken via time travel in 1959. Just kidding. It’s a Photoshop job. Project 365
The grooves in your brain will thank you. Last night while digging through a box of computer CDs, looking for my Sim City 4 disc, I stumbled upon an iTunes gift card someone gave me last year for Christmas that I thought I’d lost. And lo I embarked upon a quest to enrich my hard drive with tunes so sweet and poppy and complex that I could not be helped but to decide upon Rob…

Because he doesn’t link to the CA article, I can’t look at it and tell you if it’s a follow-up story or a first-day obituary. There’s a big difference. And,…
Today I tagged along with Phil to his mom’s house for a quick daylong visit. His sister Brooke was there with Rylee, who is now just over two years old, and eventually his aunt and grandmother came over to retrieve his cousin Spencer, who had spent the night with his brother Rickey. We sat around in a circle in the living room and I listened as everyone exchanged stories about their time as children. These…
I accidentally caught her with the flash. She didn’t seem to mind, but I’m sure she’ll be seeing spots for several days. Later she got her revenge by peeing on me. Project 365
This is Paolo, who always stops to say hi and give us some good-natured ribbing when we eat at Mezcal. Today he stopped by the table to chat with me while Phil was in the bathroom. This is the same guy who asked Phil one time if he’d ever had a Mexican woman. And Phil, of course, lied and said yes. Project 365
