Movie report … now with F-bombs!

Here’s all I can say for Disco Pigs: Meh. Unfortunately, the disc had no subtitles, so I couldn’t understand half of what was spoken since all of it was in thickly accented Irish (and Pig’s was waaaaay harder to understand than everyone else’s). This is particularly sad because, alas, it’s my motherfucking mother tongue and it’s ENGLISH, so it’s not like it should be that hard to figure out. Cillian Murphy is an exquisite-looking man,…

Vote or die

OK, not really. But I never pass up a chance to make a P. Diddy joke. The Koufax polls have opened, so mosey on over if you get a chance and leave a comment with your vote for the best blog/bloggers in each category. Oh, kids these days with their candy corn and their hula hoops and their journalism-mimicking pixels. The game is a modified version of “Neverwinter Nights,” which sounds slightly less interesting than a game about journalism. “When we initially did the…

Googlebombing Napoli

Fig. 1: No one, not even this asshole, deserves to be napolied. South Dakota Sen. Bill Napoli (see Fig. 1) let us in on what he feels should be the only type of exception to South Dakota’s spanking new abortion ban: A real-life description to me would be a rape victim, brutally raped, savaged. The girl was a virgin. She was religious. She planned on saving her virginity until she was married. She was brutalized…

Crashed

I saw Crash. I didn’t much care for it. I thought it was boring and heavy-handed and all News flash! Everyone, everywhere, all men and women are prejudiced pricks and everyone suffers for it. Pardon my yawns. I realize my opinion has little to no weight, naturally, but, that said, my feelings on the movie may have been swayed by my general demeanor while watching it last week (it was a bad week). For god’s…
