Yesterday didn’t have the chance to be a great day, what with everything that’s happening at work. Some people who are close to me were affected and it absolutely sucks not knowing what to do for them. We are all going to need to make some serious decisions about the future, and even though we’ve been thinking about what to do for a long time, it still feels like being out in the middle of a lake with nothing to grab onto. It’s one thing to decide you need a change in your life, but it’s another thing entirely to have that decision made for you.
Sigh.
And yet life goes on, trite as that may sound. There’s a wedding this weekend and there will be revelry. Revelry and sweat and sore feet and aching heads. Let’s keep pushing forward, kids. The Universe has something in store for all of us and it may be good or bad or weird or boring but it’s something.
