She’d probably kill me if she knew I was plastering her photo all over the interwebs, but I figure by now she’s used to me being the annoying person in the corner with the camera and the blog and the need to compulsively document everything.
I keep telling everyone, “Some day you’ll be glad you have these pictures!” I have no idea if that’s true. But it’s the best argument I’ve got.
I was glad to see Lil Peanut get so much nice swag to use once he makes his grand entrance. Plus he’s inherited several aunts, which is awesome. For spoiling and babysitting and such. We are Ashley’s Sanity Insurance, always available to get her out of the house every now and again, and speak to her in multiple syllables without drooling. (If we’re sober, of course.) I’m excited. I haven’t had a baby around to spoil since Rylee, and I hardly ever get to see her. She’s probably, like, thirteen by now.
Now. Can we talk for a minute about the food at this shower?
And mimosas.
