[I wish you could be sitting here next to me]

I caved and said I’d babysit again tomorrow. This time I’m armed with a plan.

This weekend was recuperative. Phil had two whole days off so I rushed to his arms and we spent a good deal of time just being in each other’s company. I also hung with the kids, and we hooped it up at dumb movies and clever cartoons. I miss my friends and our base humor. And, as sad as it makes me to say it, I miss Murfreesboro’s breezy small-town goodness.

I got to lay out the Money section front for Sunday’s paper. It turned out well and I’ve been told I’ll get to do more.

When I arrived home today, I didn’t hear any chirping in my ceiling. That rocks.
