At first when I let them out of the carrier, they cowered on the bottom shelf of the bookshelf, behind some knick-knacks. It wasn&#8217;t until I fed them that they even considered exploring the place. And now they&#8217;ve pretty much sniffed most of the corners, puffed up and spit at Felix, laid down in the litter pan, and stole my heart by finally purring.
