I won&#8217;t quibble over their profit margins vs. the amount they donate or anything like that, because what&#8217;s important is that they&#8217;re giving at all. <\/p>\n<p>Wal-Mart <a href=\"http:\/\/informationweek.com\/story\/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=170102839\" target=\"_blank\">is donating $15 million<\/a>, and various drug companies <a href=\"http:\/\/www.medicalnewstoday.com\/medicalnews.php?newsid=30093\" target=\"_blank\">are donating money, supplies, and precious, precious drugs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.scripps.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Scripps<\/a>, the parent company of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.commercialappeal.com\" target=\"_blank\">CA<\/a> has pledged to fully match all employee donations to the Red Cross or the Salvation Army.  <\/p>\n<p>The Red Cross reports that more than <a href=\"$196.9 million in gifts and pledges \" target=\"_blank\">$196 million<\/a> has been donated so far. That&#8217;s amazing.
