Most of the time I spend on Facebook/Twitter/this blog is spent shilling the products I have already created. But one of my favorite things to do is take on a freelance design project and create the blog/invitation/card/banner/etc. you will be excited to share!
Here’s one of my most recent freelance projects.
Christian emailed me out of the blue one day after looking at my Etsy shop and T&G. She said she liked my style and that I had a love for all things Memphis, and asked me to make her a Memphis-y set of wedding invitations/RSVPs/save the dates. I was happy to oblige.
So I set about finding some of my favorite photos I’d taken in Memphis and I came up with this design that features iconic shots of Memphis as well as shots that communicate the personality of Memphis, using texture, shape and color.
Christian told me her wedding colors were navy and lime green and I gave the type a postery feel and incorporated it into the photography.
Here’s the result!
This project was a lot of fun and, as a bonus, I got to show off my favorite city.
