One of the very best things about fall in the South is that it’s when the cotton fields really start to shine. <\/p>\n

I haven’t made the trek to my parents’ house much these past few months, but the journey always takes me past some of the most beautiful fields \u2014\u00a0like the one pictured here \u2014 along Highway 64. It’s one of my favorite places to stop and photograph when I can.<\/p>\n

There’s something about that bright blue sky and those specks of white expanding over the horizon that just sings.<\/p>\n
