I still owe many of you prints from the giveaway, but I swear I haven’t even visited my local post office yet. I don’t even know where it is! So once I buy some photo mailers, I’ll get those right out to you.<\/p>\n
The big news today is that theogeo design & photography is now EYEDOT CREATIVE. I’ve been wanting to make the leap to the new name for a while and decided to just go for it. <\/p>\n

If you’ve ever met me, you might have noticed I have a spot in my left eye. People are constantly asking me about it. Did you get poked with a pencil? Did you run into a tree branch? Do you have a laser embedded in there?<\/p>\n
My whole life people have wondered about that dot in my eye and I have never really had a good answer except for “I was born with it.” Although the laser thing is pretty good too.<\/p>\n
I have carried two things with me my whole life: That dot and my need to create. That spot in my eye will always remind me that as much as my circumstances change, I’m still me, still that country girl who wants to make pretty things to look at and funny things to share. So I figured it was time to marry the two because I am always going to have both those things at my core. It’s a little silly, but it makes perfect sense to me. Hope you think so too! <\/p>\n
