Most of the time I spend on Facebook\/Twitter\/this blog is spent shilling the products I have already created. But one of my favorite things to do is take on a freelance design project and create the blog\/invitation\/card\/banner\/etc. you will be excited to share!<\/p>\n

Here’s one of my most recent freelance projects. <\/p>\n

Christian emailed me out of the blue one day after looking at my Etsy shop<\/a> and T&G<\/a>. She said she liked my style and that I had a love for all things Memphis, and asked me to make her a Memphis-y set of wedding invitations\/RSVPs\/save the dates. I was happy to oblige. <\/p>\n

So I set about finding some of my favorite photos I’d taken in Memphis and I came up with this design that features iconic shots of Memphis as well as shots that communicate the personality of Memphis, using texture, shape and color.<\/p>\n

Christian told me her wedding colors were navy and lime green and I gave the type a postery feel and incorporated it into the photography.<\/p>\n

Here’s the result!<\/p>\n

This project was a lot of fun and, as a bonus, I got to show off my favorite city.<\/p>\n
