Two weeks and the test results from this vet visit still aren’t in (even though they said they’d take ten days). It’s okay, I guess, because Sally’s ears seem to have cleared up. I have no idea if it’s because of the injections they gave her, the topical stuff I used for a few days, or if the redness just went away naturally. I don’t guess it matters. Yay for healthy ears!
I have too many nicknames for my cats to ever call them by their real names. In other news, I rented a big fancy lens and haven’t had a chance to take it out for a spin yet. Cat pictures are hardly the training I had intended to have before the zombie walk and Lesley’s wedding tomorrow, but, well, life is what happens when you’re too busy working to do anything else. Sally’s had some weird red patches inside her ears now for about a week. I halfway figure it’s ringworm, so we had the vet do a fungus culture, which will take ten days, and in the meantime, I’ve got to treat her ears with this topical stuff twice a day. She got two shots just in case it’s something bacterial. Poor kitty. No one likes spending a birthday at the doctor’s office. [Project 365]

I’ve already posted my photo for day 31, but I have to post an additional little something. If ever there was any doubt about who owns this place, let this picture serve as a definitive reminder. It is amazing to me how evil this cat looks in photos but how deliciously adorable he is in person. The little shit.
Woke up today and saw my new wireless mouse on the hardwood floor, belly-up, its battery plate beside it. Helpless. Wonder how it got on the floor.
