This song has been in my brain since we heard it at The Cove Friday night.
(I’m partial to the alternate video but it cuts the song off at the end.)
I went to bed early last night (1:30 is early for me), but ended up sleeping late anyway, and am now battling brain fog as I’m trying to get some freelance photo work done. Plus I need a haircut and an oil change and I have a list of errands I need to run. It’s the same list of errands I’ve been ignoring for a month and might continue to ignore until 2011. Yesterday I realized I have done something horrible to my elbow (it’s all weirdly distended-looking and has a bit of fever), which explains why it’s been hurting like a bitch for weeks, and probably explains why I can’t turn my left wrist very much without cussing. I didn’t notice how awful it must have looked this whole time because I have more or less not seen myself in a mirror in short sleeves in, wow, a while. So I should probably try to find … an elbow doctor? God, getting old can go take a flying leap.
Anyway, I love this freaking song and enjoy belting out the lyrics in falsetto.
